DISAPPOINTED, AS USUAL | June 4, 2010 at 12:00 pm
Though he records in Atlanta and may send his daughter to Duke to school (though this is a Jersey in-state school), seems as if he is either not represented well by you/Landau or he is simply another northerner prejudice against the southeast.
Either way, once again, someone in his camp is denying the existence of the southeast.
There are no NC, SC, or GA dates.
Ross in Atlanta | June 6, 2010 at 8:06 am
Why nothing in Atlanta??? So much of the last few albums have been recorded here. Are there still new theaters to be announced?
Disappointed Often | June 6, 2010 at 6:33 pm
Where is the NC? Where is the GA? Where is the NM, OR, AL, and more TX?
Lots of viewers are left out because this phase of business is only setup to cater to big markets. Sounds like our old health care system.
Springsteen is for ‘all the people’. Please bring the product to ‘all the people’ that want to view the concert on a big screen.
Emerging | June 7, 2010 at 4:57 pm
Hey guys,
Sorry some of you are so disappointed, but don’t blame Bruce!
We simply don’t have participating theaters in our Emerging Cinemas network in these areas at the moment. But we’re always open to partnering with new venues, so go right ahead and make suggestions if you know of a theater!
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for Albuquerque, NM, where one of our new venues might just get on board in time for this event.
Thanks for the feedback,
Emerging
Michele in VA | June 7, 2010 at 5:17 pm
there is nothing in VA either – D.C. is too far to go see a movie, even if it is the Boss.
KiMo Theatre | June 7, 2010 at 6:40 pm
No to fear Disappointed Often,
The KiMo Theatre in Albuquerque, NM has just announced a screening on June 19th!
Missing in St. Louis | June 7, 2010 at 9:08 pm
Bruce Springsteen fans are terribly disappointed the theater showing of London Calling will not shown in the St. Louis area. Is there any chance our metropolitan area will be included on the roster in the near future? St. Louis is known for having fabulous fans, both for sports and for Bruce. A St. Louis showing of London Calling will ease the ache until Bruce’s next St. Louis concert. Thank you.
JB | June 7, 2010 at 10:51 pm
NO JERSEY!?! You got to be kidding me.
sheldon parsons | June 8, 2010 at 12:55 am
What about Canada eh! The boss and the band often tour Canada and sells out every time. First no tunnel of love once during working on a dream and now this

i don’t know if we are going to see that special version through emerging cinemas here in greece, but on 6/15 we will see the new dvd in a big screen in a theatre in athens.hope to see the boss himself alive someday in greece
Sandee Jerseygirl | June 8, 2010 at 10:58 am
That’s okay kids I live in northern NJ and it’s not playing anywhere near where I live or anywhere in NJ (it’s playing in NY but ugh why not closer?)
From Iowa | June 8, 2010 at 5:53 pm
Bruce stopped in North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee on his last tour. How is that denying the existence of the Southeast? He always spreads his tours around nicely. I wouldn’t let this shortlist of screenings overshadow his appearances while on tour.
It’s obvious he didn’t personally pick these locales. It was probably a matter of which locations could accommodate the screening as opposed to which locations he wanted the screenings to be at.
dee hamel | June 8, 2010 at 6:57 pm
MISSING BRUCE. We need more Bruce in St. LOUIS, MO…….in the arenas, on the radio and at the movies. PLEASE? Thank you. God bless.
dee hamel | June 8, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Bruce, please come back to St. Louis, Mo. soon. We miss you in the arenas, the radio, and at the movies. Thank you. And God bless you and yours.
mofan | June 8, 2010 at 7:29 pm
I was standing outside the arena doors in Kansas City when the concert got cancelled. Wouldn’t you think London Calling could at least be in a theater here?
German-Fan | June 9, 2010 at 9:29 am
A screening at the Sony Center in BERLIN would be nice as well (of course not during one of the matchdays of the World Cup
Ruth | June 9, 2010 at 1:54 pm
how about contacting Latchis Theatre in Brattleboro Vermont to participate as an emerging theatre??
Emerging | June 9, 2010 at 2:44 pm
Hey guys! Thanks for all the feedback, but… we’re not in charge of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band or where they tour. If we were you can bet we’d ask them to play a concert in our office every Friday afternoon!
We’re just doing a special concert film in our venues – some of the proceeds to benefit Melanoma Research – and we appreciate POSITIVE support. Thanks again!
London Calling | June 9, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Good 2 see one London date, the important thing is these gigs raise money for the Danny fund and the blu-ray is out 6/22 (here in the UK).
I was there last Summer and Boy, was it a show to remember…
Let’s all hope he hits the road again in 2011………………….

Doug | June 9, 2010 at 8:56 pm
WE got it in St. Pete, FL. Sorry you don’t have it; you’ll have to buy the DVD………
Liam Kelly | June 10, 2010 at 7:16 am
I went to the London show and would buy the DVD just to see Rosalita again ……. a great show …. I work near the Curzon in London and will plan to visit that viewing… thanks for listing much appreciated.
However I would have preffered Bruce and the Thrill Hill production guys to have issued a dvd of the Wembley Stadium 4th July 1985 Independance Day concert as a 25th Anniversary celebration (my first live bruce and e street band show) ……… c’mon guys you know it makes sense …
MightyMouse | June 10, 2010 at 10:14 am
Toronto, what about Toronto????
We love you here Bruce!!! :L
Christine | June 10, 2010 at 10:48 am
No AZ?! The last film showing (30th anniversary BTR) was shown here at a theater in Scottsdale. Why not this one?
Christine | June 10, 2010 at 10:50 am
Oh and one more thing. I’m originally from NJ, born and bred. I cannot BELIEVE there’s not one single date in Jersey. That’s just demented. Of all places in the US, it should be shown there. Especially since he’s not opening the new stadium (what a heartbreaker, I was planning a quick turn-around trip for it).
Nancy | June 10, 2010 at 1:01 pm
What about Connecticut??
Bill Powers | June 10, 2010 at 2:22 pm
Living in Knoxville Tn, I’m one of the many who live just too far to drive to see one of these screenings. BUT I understand that Emerging can just show in the theaters where they are set up for. I hope that all the Bruce fans that live within an hour drive or so from a venue will get out and enjoy what will unquestionably be an awesome fan experiance while suporting melanoma research.
DudeFromPA | June 10, 2010 at 4:01 pm
Uh, read the info a little closer – this is a fund raiser for independent theaters and the Danny Fund. If any of you in St. Louis, OK, OR, TX, etc go to an independently owned and/or non-profit arts venue in your community, urge them to request the film. This isn’t a Columbia Records money making scheme.
Roland Hughes | June 10, 2010 at 4:59 pm
We were at Hyde Park for the show brilliant, looking forward to the DVD……and the next tour…………………….
michaglasi | June 11, 2010 at 5:09 pm
Thanks Emerging for this!!
I had in 2010 Atlanta, 2xPhilly, HydePark, Bern, Munich and Frankfurt.
And the London show was my favourite, and now I got it in a cinema, amazing!!
I hope they did not cut the scene when Bruce was fallin up the stairs and his reaction
on it.
Chris, my friend in Florida, I will come over from Germany to watch this together with
you and more fellow tramps in DeLand – Athens Theatre. We are crazy, aren’t we ??
Cheers and Ole,
Michael
michaglasi | June 11, 2010 at 5:09 pm
sorry, it was one year ago, 2009…
Paul Haider | June 14, 2010 at 12:07 pm
There is nothing in the city of Chicago or in the entire state of Illinois? What’s the problem? Is this related to Bruce’s anger over the Hawks beating the Flyers for the Stanley Cup? Hey, we hadn’t won the Cup since since 1961! We’ve waited even longer for the Cubs to win the World Series!!! Well, I’ll take comfort in knowing that I will be able to see the London/Hyde Park in my own home in Chicago on Tuesday, June 22. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce!
