Raymond L. Forsythe Chief Marketing Officer
Raymond L. Forsythe was partner and co-founder of P & F Communications, a New York-based marketing and publicity agency which he ran from 1989 through 2007. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of England & Company, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company, its accounts and 30 employees.
With nearly 30 years in the fields of marketing communications and public relations, Forsythe has created, managed and implemented New York City and national promotional campaigns for nearly 200 theatrically released feature films for studios including: Artistic License Films, City Lights Media, Focus Features, Gramercy Pictures, IFC Films, Newmarket Films, Merchant Ivory Films, October Films, Paramount Classics, Regent Releasing and USA Films.
These films have included such critical and box office successes as: Afterlife, Being John Malkovich, The Big Lebowski, Bowling for Columbine, Dead Man Walking, Departed, Elizabeth, Far From Heaven, Fargo, Gosford Park, Memento, Monsoon Wedding, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Pianist, Pitch Black, Topsy Turvy, The Virgin Suicides, Whale Rider and When We Were Kings.
He co-managed the national publicity campaign for New Line Home Entertainment’s DVD release of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Outside the entertainment field, he was responsible for marketing, promotion and corporate image programs for such companies as AT&T, The Arrow Company, Chase Manhattan Bank, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, Haagen-Dazs, New Line Home Entertainment, United Artists Communications, Warner Bros. and divisions of Continental Grain.
He received his B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University, New York City.
