Charlie Kanganis – writer/director/producer

Rome & Jewel is the first film that Charlie has written, produced and directed.   He started as an actor and has an MA in theatre from the University of Akron in Ohio.  His stage career began with work in musicals both on stage and in the wings as an assistant stage manager.  His first job outside of theatre was editing commercials and recently, he directed and produced two music videos for rappers Poc Da One and Skripture.  Charlie has also worked with notable actors Halle Berry, Steve Zahn, Casey Affleck and Eliza Dushku.  He just completed an adaptation of a Sam Fuller novel “Crown of India”.
