I agree with Mary! I don\’t live anywhere near Oklahoma, but can\’t find any non-US info.
Where can I see Macbeth in the Switzerland – n. Italy – s. Germany area?
Jean Bacon | May 26, 2011 at 4:34 pm
Is Macbeth being shown in Montreal, Canada?
Nina Oppermann | June 7, 2011 at 12:08 pm
Re: Macbeth
Are you planning on showing this in Canada, in particular Victoria, British Columbia? We have a huge opera following in our fair city, especially for any HD live presentations.
Juergen Haas | June 8, 2011 at 2:26 pm
We can see the MET performances live in our cinemas in Germany !
Why not this ones ???
Connie Wentzel | June 8, 2011 at 3:13 pm

How come no venues in Connecticut?

@Robert Halperin
I see an opera/ballet/play listed on your website, but it isn’t playing near me. Why not?
With the exception of live broadcasts, each individual venue gets to choose its own schedule, showtimes and titles. While we encourage venues to play our newest titles (the ones that are promoted in our newsletters) we allow our venues flexibility with their scheduling and programming, to best suit the needs of their communities. If there is a specific title you would like to see at your local theatre, contact your theatre to request it.
Not all of our venues are capable of showing live broadcasts, as they require additional equipment. Live broadcast dates are determined by the opera houses or ballet companies of origin, not by Emerging Pictures. If you would like to see live broadcasts at your local venue, contact your theatre to request it.

It’s also playing in Kennewick.

Why no showings in the New Orleans, La. area? We get High Definition showings from the Metropolitan Opera at AMC Theatres here. Can this be done with you?

David in Atlanta | June 11, 2011 at 10:08 am
To whom it may concern:
#1) your site is ridiculously difficult to navigate. And whoever designed it needs to have some better concept of United States geography; why should venues be based on distance from Stillwater, OK?
#2) The number of venues is woefully inadequate. Atlanta has a large number of attendees for the \”Met in HD\” broadcasts, but your closest venue is in Snellville, GA – almost 30 miles away.

I am delighted that the Opera in Cinema and Opera in Ballet series are being shown at five cinemas in Colorado and one in nearby Cheyenne, WY. We will attend the Macbeth encore showing in Fort Collins this evening. I find your website easy to navigate and an improvement over previous versions. Next year\’s opera series looks really promising, with great casts and from excellent venues. Thanks for your splendid offerings.
